Meet the Employers
Sunday, 7 January
AIAA’s “Meet the Employers” event offers students and young professional attendees the opportunity to meet AIAA corporate members. This is a fun and dynamic environment where students and professionals interact with organizations regarding employment opportunities.
The first hour will consist of 8-minute briefs where participating companies/organizations will present an organizational overview and opportunities available. The second hour will be roundtable meet and greet sessions, with organizations hosting a table and attendees switching every 10 minutes.
Immediately following the event, AIAA will hold its Student Welcome Reception in the same venue. There is no charge to participate in either the recruiting event or the reception. All students and young professionals are invited to attend. No RSVP is required.

AIAA Student Welcome Reception

AIAA SciTech Forum has the largest gathering of students of all of the AIAA forums. Come meet fellow students who you are sure to see again throughout the week. Many student award winners and presenters will be in attendance. Also, Executive Director Sandy Magnus will address the attendees. All attendees are welcome. Members of the AIAA Board of Directors and the Technical Activities Committee will also be in attendance. Take advantage of this great chance to meet AIAA key members and learn about opportunities that are available to AIAA Student members.
Career Workshop: Tools to Ensure Your Career Success

Generation STEM: Discovering Aerospace through Experience

Hosted by the AIAA Foundation, Generation STEM will be a day filled with fun and interactive educational STEM experiences for middle school students.
Generation STEM is designed to engage and stimulate students by offering the following interactive activities:
- Participate in mini design competitions and challenges.
- View engaging demonstrations from various aerospace companies.
- Learn more about aerospace careers.
- Discover aerospace findings that are impacting everyday life.
From Race Cars to Flying Machines: Celebrating 80 Years of Liebeck

Hosted by Robert H. Liebeck, The Boeing Company, University of California at Irvine, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
This special session will celebrate the 80th birthday of Bob Liebeck, renowned aerodynamicist, professor and aerospace engineer. Guest speakers will highlight Bob's tremendous contributions to aerospace and education, and will provide a glimpse of the fun he has had along the way.
